Greatmore studios: call for applications for visiting artists' residency

Greatmore Studios now invites applications from mid-career artists from all over the world for the second Visiting Artists Programme of 2012 (May – July). The aim of the Visiting Artists Residency is to facilitate cultural exchange and creative dialogue, by bringing together international and local artists in a stimulating and supportive environment.
As part of this programme, the Visiting Artists are obliged

•To create new artworks during their 3-month residency
•Show this body of work in a group exhibition at Greatmore Studios at the end of the residency;
•Conduct an outreach project in and with the local community;
•Give a presentation of their previous works and plans for this residency to the local art community;
•Interact with the permanent resident artists and participate in Greatmore Studios’ activities
During the residency, Greatmore Studios will provide the visiting artists with
•Accommodation,
•Studio space,
•Per diems,
•An outreach and materials budget
•Assistance with the exhibition

GREATMORE STUDIOS DOES NOT COVER TRAVEL, VISA OR INSURANCE COSTS.
Applicants must submit the following with their application:
•Curriculum vitae and short bio
•Motivational letter
•A copy of Identity Document/ Passport
•Examples of your work (3-6 images good quality Jpeg format, slides or photographs)
•A profile picture of the artist
•A list of additional sources of funding for the residency, if any (i.e. travel funds, extra material budget, etc.)
